Installation Instructions

  • Prepping the Surface
Start by getting all metal surfaces clean from dust, debris, oil, wax and moisture. For this we recommend a microfiber
cloth, a breathing mask, and a quick drying solvent such as Acetone. If you have some rust, it is possible it requires a bit
more attention and detail to ensure the material will stick well. Once all the surfaces have been prepped and properly
air dried, we can start applying material. Our material is unique, so a household pair of scissors, exacto knife, or razor
blade can be used to cut whatever shapes you need.

  • Installation
    Step 01
Roll the material out on a flat surface and you can measure the size you will need (paper or cardboard can be used to
cut templates). After you have made your cut, peel off the white paper on the back covering the adhesive.

    Step 02
When you're ready to apply, pick a place to start (it is best to start from the top down) so yo,u can work the material all
one direction and minimize any trapped air pockets. You can push the material with your hand a with medium pressure
outwards until the material has complete contact. If you see any possible trapped air, you can use the point of a razor
blade or a sewing needle to poke a hole and push down on the material.

    Step 03
The main focus is to ensure the adhesive has proper contact to the metal surface. Check that any holes that require
fastening hardware are not blocked. Repeat this step for the remainder of the installation and ensure lasting adhesion
    with the maximum insulation.
